U2 to headline Thanksgiving Eve halftime at SoFi Stadium during Rams-Packers game
Netflix announced Tuesday that U2 will headline the halftime show when the Los Angeles Rams host the Green Bay Packers at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2026. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. PT, and the game will stream globally on Netflix and be broadcast locally on NBC-4. The matchup is the first NFL game played on Thanksgiving Eve in league history, and U2 will mark 50 years since forming in Dublin in 1976.
The Rams said Netflix will make the game available in more than 200 countries and provide feeds in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German for subscribers. NBC-owned stations and affiliates will carry the game in the competing teams’ cities, and NBC Sports will produce the pregame and postgame shows. Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the halftime show, and EverWonder Studio will serve as an executive producer for Netflix.
SoFi Stadium opened in 2021 and was built by owner and chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. The venue has hosted high-profile performers including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, Los Bukis, Karol G and BTS. SoFi hosted eight World Cup matches this past summer and is scheduled to host Super Bowl LXI on Feb. 14, 2027, as well as the opening ceremonies and swimming for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The Rams said tickets and single-game suite rentals are available through the club’s website. The game will be available on U.S. mobile and tablet devices via NFL+. Netflix’s halftime presentations follow other marquee shows on its NFL broadcasts, including Beyoncé’s 2024 Christmas Gameday halftime and Snoop Dogg’s 2025 Holiday Halftime Party. The team listed the broadcast and production partners but did not provide further pricing or production details in the announcement.

Pairing U2’s 50th-anniversary performance with the NFL’s first Thanksgiving Eve game gives the Rams and SoFi Stadium a high-profile primetime event that leverages Netflix’s growing role as a global NFL platform. The game continues Netflix’s strategy of adding marquee musical acts to its NFL broadcasts and highlights SoFi Stadium’s status as a destination for major sports and entertainment events ahead of Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 Olympics. Fans should expect a widely available broadcast with multiple language feeds and mobile access via NFL+.
