Dylan Laube’s tracksuit ritual traces to high school, now a Raiders trademark

Las Vegas Raiders running back Dylan Laube has turned a wardrobe choice from his high school days into a signature pregame ritual, arriving at games in custom tracksuits that have become part of the Raiders’ arrival routine. The practice began when Laube was a freshman at Westhampton Beach High School in New York, when a matching tracksuit he wore to a team dinner became an enduring tradition. He kept the ritual through high school and carried it into college, where teammates noticed and enjoyed the flair it added.
Laube continued the ritual at the University of New Hampshire, adopting the team-issued tracksuit before games as he compiled 7,197 all-purpose yards and 47 total touchdowns for the Wildcats. Laube, a 2024 sixth-round pick, brought the look to Las Vegas and said he wears the outfits even in 100-plus-degree conditions because it is his chosen pregame fit and part of how he prepares to compete. The visual contrast of a tracksuit in the desert underscores how personally important the routine is to him.
He has assembled nearly two dozen luxury custom tracksuits, separate from the more casual sets he uses for workouts, and he has developed clear preferences. Laube singled out a beige Louis Vuitton set he wore before this season’s opener against the Miami Dolphins as a favorite; in that game he totaled 95 yards on two kickoff returns. He also drew inspiration from the 2019 film The Gentlemen, contacting the costume designers and obtaining hand-stitched pieces from a Ukrainian maker that he later purchased.
The collection has become a point of pride in the Raiders locker room, with teammates ranking his outfits and advising him on what to wear for particular games. Tommy Eichenberg, who was drafted with Laube in 2024, said the suits rally the team. Fellow running back Ashton Jeanty compared the tracksuits to a personalized Superman cape that elevates Laube’s confidence, and teammate Maxx Crosby called the aura “one of one.” Laube described the aesthetic as a swaggering, gangster-infused confidence that he believes helps set a tone when the team arrives at the stadium.

Laube’s tracksuit tradition shows how a personal ritual can become part of team identity and mindset. His sustained production at UNH and his role on special teams in Las Vegas, including a game in which he had 95 yards on two kickoff returns, align with a pregame routine that appears to work for him. The visible buy-in from teammates, who rank and react to his arrivals, suggests the ritual has value beyond fashion by fostering cohesion and a shared sense of swagger heading into games.
