The Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday released their first injury report for Week 6, listing seven players who did not practice and 13 who were limited ahead of Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium. The team said Joe Alt (neck), Derwin James (hamstring), Donte Jackson (hamstring) and Kayode Awosika (fibula) did not practice. Khalil Mack took a veteran rest day, while Alec Ingold (shoulder) and Tre’ Harris (hamstring) also did not practice.

The Chargers listed 13 players as limited in practice, including wide receiver Ladd McConkey (foot), linebacker Daiyan Henley (knee), wide receiver Quentin Johnston (chest), running back Brenen Thompson (quadriceps) and cornerback Rodney Shelley (hamstring). The limited group also included Jamaree Caldwell (knee), Bud Dupree (neck) and Justin Eboigbe (shoulder). The team opened KeAndre Lambert-Smith’s 21-day practice window on Wednesday.

Additional Chargers listed as limited were defensive back Elijah Molden (hamstring), defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring), wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (rib) and safety Kendall Williamson (ankle). Tight end Charlie Kolar was the only listed player to be a full participant on Wednesday. The Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to kick off at 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday. The Chargers’ official report noted they enter Week 6 as underdogs.

The injury report posted on chargers.com also included updates from Kansas City. The Chiefs listed safety Chamarri Conner and quarterback Patrick Mahomes as full participants, and wide receiver Rashee Rice did not practice. Defensive back Josh Simmons and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed were limited. Fullback Ben VanSumeren was listed as a full participant for the Chiefs.

Wednesday’s report underscores several soft-tissue and upper-body concerns that could influence the Chargers’ game plan at Arrowhead. Multiple hamstring listings and a potentially limited receiving corps, including McConkey and Lambert-Smith, could affect target distribution if any of those players are limited or inactive on game day. The club’s veteran rest designation for Khalil Mack is not an injury designation, while Joe Alt’s neck status and Alec Ingold’s shoulder absence bear watching for offensive-line continuity. The Chargers will need to monitor practice participation across the rest of the week to clarify availability for Sunday’s kickoff.
