WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Oct. 16, 2026 — Stu Jackson, Senior Staff Writer. The Los Angeles Rams declared cornerback Trent McDuffie (groin) and safety Kam Curl (ankle) questionable for Sunday’s Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium (1:05 p.m. PT, FOX), the team announced Friday. Head coach Sean McVay said McDuffie “felt a little something” in his groin at the end of Thursday’s practice and did not practice Friday as a precaution. McVay described Curl’s ankle as soreness from Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills and said the staff “feel good about him.”

McVay added that tight end Davis Allen, who was limited in Friday’s practice with a foot issue, is “trending in the right direction.” Allen was listed on the injury report without a game-status designation Friday. The Rams did not practice Wednesday; several players who were limited earlier in the week — including Omar Speights, Alex Bachman, Colby Parkinson and Josh Wallace — were full participants later in the week.

Arizona’s final injury report included multiple absences and questionables. Running back Jeremiyah Love (ankle) was ruled out. Punter Blake Gillikin (back), safety Kitan Crawford (ankle) and linebacker Zaven Collins (hip) were listed as questionable, while safety Budda Baker was listed as not injury related on Wednesday, was a full participant on Friday, but still received a questionable designation. The Cardinals also listed Wydett Williams (concussion) and safety Andrew Wingard (knee) as out.

NFL Sports Blog Take

Trent McDuffie’s late-week groin issue and Kam Curl’s ankle soreness will be the primary injury storylines to monitor for Los Angeles heading into Sunday. McDuffie missing practice Friday suggests the Rams may need to adjust their cornerback rotation if he cannot play, while Curl’s optimistic outlook could preserve continuity in the safety position. On Arizona’s side, Jeremiyah Love being ruled out removes a running back option, and Budda Baker’s Friday full practice but questionable listing injects uncertainty into the Cardinals’ secondary.
