Saints to induct Mark Ingram II, Terron Armstead into Hall of Fame
The New Orleans Saints announced that Mark Ingram II and Terron Armstead will be inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame during alumni events Nov. 6-7, 2026. The selections were first revealed at a press conference on June 18, 2026, the Nov. 3 article reported. The club also said Sal La Rock will receive the Joe Gemelli “Fleur de Lis” Award.
Ingram played for the Saints from 2011-18 and again from 2021-22 and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection during his Saints tenure. He was the second of the Saints’ two first-round picks in 2011 and was the first Heisman Trophy winner from Alabama. Ingram finished his Saints career as the franchise leader in rushing yards (6,500) and rushing touchdowns (52), marks the club said have since been surpassed by Alvin Kamara.
Terron Armstead was the Saints’ left tackle from 2013-21 and earned three Pro Bowl selections while with the club. He was selected in the third round out of Arkansas–Pine Bluff. He drew attention at the NFL Combine by posting a 4.71-second 40-yard dash, the fastest recorded by an offensive lineman at the event. The team highlighted those accomplishments in announcing his Hall of Fame selection.
Sal La Rock is the long-time Caesars Superdome press box security supervisor and ambassador. He will be honored with the Joe Gemelli “Fleur de Lis” Award during the alumni weekend. He will be recognized during several events scheduled throughout the weekend.
Alumni weekend will begin with an induction luncheon at noon Friday at the Chateau Country Club in Kenner, with tickets priced at $75 per person and $750 for a table of 10. The Saints Hall of Fame gala will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., also at the Chateau Country Club. The club said 77 former Saints, including 14 Saints Hall of Famers, have committed to attend some portion of the weekend’s events.
The alumni weekend will conclude when the Saints host the Cleveland Browns in the Caesars Superdome on the Sunday following the events. The club listed its record at 2-5 and Cleveland at 5-3 at the time of the announcement. Ingram and Armstead are scheduled to be presented with their Saints Hall of Fame blazers in a pregame ceremony on the field.
