ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos signed defensive back Ugo Amadi, running back Jaret Patterson and defensive tackle Jordan Miller to the practice squad on Nov. 3, the team announced Tuesday. The moves came ahead of Week 9 and were made in a corresponding transaction that released wide receivers Eli Pancol and Cam Ross from the practice squad. The team disclosed the additions in its official roster update.

Amadi, a 2019 fourth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks, has appeared in 85 career games and spent time on the Broncospractice squad in October. His NFL totals include 208 tackles, two quarterback hits, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception. The veteran presence adds experience to Denver’s defensive backroom.

Patterson has played in the regular season for the Washington Commanders and the Los Angeles Chargers, including six games for the Chargers in 2025 when he logged 41 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown. The 5-foot-8, 195-pound running back has totaled 584 scrimmage yards and three career touchdowns while averaging 4.2 yards per touch. His addition provides backfield depth on the practice squad as the Broncos head into Week 9 preparations.

Miller, a 6-foot-3, 307-pound defensive tackle out of SMU, previously spent parts of 2024 and 2025 on the Broncospractice squad and competed with the team during the 2026 offseason. He joined the Miami Dolphinspractice squad in September and has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game. The Broncos are reuniting with a player who is familiar with their system and who adds interior defensive line depth.

These practice-squad additions give the Broncos a mix of veteran experience and developmental pieces ahead of Week 9. Amadi brings the most NFL game experience and a track record of defensive production, Patterson supplies a backfield option with recent NFL carries, and Miller represents a developmental interior lineman the club has worked with previously. Releasing Pancol and Ross cleared space for the trio and reflects roster shuffling focused on depth and familiarity with the organization. The moves keep the Broncos flexible for elevations while they prepare for upcoming game-day needs.
