The Kansas City Chiefs provided detailed fan information for their Salute to Service game against the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 8, with kickoff at 12:00 p.m. CT. The club said the matchup is part of its year-round Chiefs Military Mission presented by G.E.H.A. The team encouraged fans to review entry, parking and game-day procedures in advance to ensure a smooth arrival.

The NFL’s Salute to Service initiative has raised more than $80 million since 2011 through partnerships with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Pat Tillman Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), United Service Organizations (USO) and Wounded Warrior Project. The Chiefs identified Retired Lieutenant Colonel Michael Lee as the Tribute to the Troops nominee for the game. Lee enlisted in the Army in 1991, later commissioned into the Air Force in 2003, commanded the 647th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and retired in 2021. He received a Purple Heart after an IED blast in Afghanistan and enrolled in the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2) following his injury.

Game entertainment will include the national anthem performed by Retired U.S. Navy Honorary Chief Petty Officer Steven Powell and a flyover featuring a C-130H from Rosecrans Air National Guard Base accompanied by two A-10 Thunderbolts from Whiteman Air Force Base. The Fort Leavenworth Joint Service Color Guard will present the colors, and the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon will perform at halftime. The club named Lieutenant General James Isenhower III as the Drum Deck honoree and Chief Master Sergeant Nathan Parks as the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Powell previously sang at the Normandy Beach D-Day commemoration in June 2024, an event the club highlighted in its release.

The Chiefs outlined key timing and entry details for Nov. 8: parking gates open at 7:30 a.m., the Ford Tailgate District opens at 8:00 a.m., CommunityAmerica Club Level gates open at 9:30 a.m., and Arrowhead Stadium gates open at 10:00 a.m. Team warm-ups begin at 11:00 a.m., the Jets team introduction is scheduled for 11:51 a.m. and the Chiefs team introduction is scheduled for 11:53 a.m. The national anthem is slated for 11:57 a.m., a flyover at 11:59 a.m., the coin toss at 12:00 p.m. and kickoff at 12:02 p.m. CT. The club reminded fans that all in-stadium concessions and retail points of sale are cashless and that select value-priced items will be available, including $5 hot dogs, pretzels, beer and 16-ounce fountain sodas at designated locations. Arrowhead Stadium enforces the NFL clear bag policy and provides accessibility services such as complimentary mobility assistance, a sensory room and a nursing lounge.
