Bengals’ Tee Higgins Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Bengals Communications named Tee Higgins the AFC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 4, 2026. The honor followed his performance in the Cincinnati Bengals’ 43-36 win over the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 1, 2026. Higgins caught 10 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns in the game. Bengals Communications said it is the first AFC Offensive Player of the Week award of his career.
Higgins’ 155 receiving yards led all NFL players in Week 8, and his 10 catches tied for third-most in the league that week. Both scoring receptions came in the second half: a 17-yard touchdown early in the third quarter and an 18-yard touchdown with 1:17 remaining in the fourth quarter that set up the game-tying extra point. Nine of his 10 receptions went for gains of 10 or more yards. He was one of two players in Week 8 with multiple receiving touchdowns, joining Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers.
The 155 yards marked the third-highest receiving total of Higgins’ career, while the 10 catches were his fourth-most. He became the second player this season to record at least 10 receptions, 150 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in a single game, joining Carolina wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. His Week 8 performance increased his season total to 726 receiving yards, and he is averaging 103.7 receiving yards per game. Both marks rank second in the NFL behind Seattle wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Higgins is the only player with three games of 140 or more receiving yards this season.
Higgins is the fourth Bengals player this season to earn a weekly recognition, following kicker Evan McPherson (Special Teams, Week 1), quarterback Joe Burrow (Offensive, Week 7) and punter Ryan Rehkow (Special Teams, Week 7). Bengals Communications released the award announcement on Nov. 4, 2026. The team noted Bengals players have combined for 28 weekly awards since the start of the 2021 season, the third-most in the NFL during that span. The recognition continues a season in which multiple Cincinnati players have received league honors.
