Chicago Bears Launch 2026 ‘United Kingdom Grand Tour,’ Visiting All Four Nations

The Chicago Bears announced the commencement of the club’s 2026 ‘United Kingdom Grand Tour,’ the franchise’s largest international activation to date and the first NFL team trip to reach all four nations of the United Kingdom in a single activation. The team said the tour reflects a long-term commitment to building a presence in the United Kingdom and deepening connections with international fans. The tour will begin Oct. 3 in Bournemouth and include fan activations across October, culminating with a watch party in Belfast on Oct. 18.
The tour will traverse Bournemouth (England), Cardiff (Wales), Leeds (England), Glasgow (Scotland) and Belfast (Northern Ireland). The Bears will stage pop-up activations in Bournemouth on Oct. 3-4, in Cardiff on Oct. 10 and in Leeds on Oct. 11, and will hold a takeover in Glasgow on Oct. 17 featuring special retail and food and beverage offerings. The visit will be bookended by watch parties in Bournemouth on Oct. 4 and in Belfast on Oct. 18 for local fans to gather on game day.
Bears alumnus Israel Idonije will participate in the Bournemouth events and Bears alumnus Zach Miller is scheduled to take part in activations in Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast. The team traced its international efforts back to its 1920 origins under founder George S. Halas and said alumni appearances offer recognizable touch points for fans abroad. The organization credited the McCaskeys with sustaining the club’s focus on growing the game overseas and expanding the Chicago Bears’ global fan base.

This tour represents a strategic expansion of the Bears’ international outreach, combining in-person activations, alumni appearances and retail initiatives to engage new and existing fans across multiple markets. By planning a single activation trip that touches all four nations of the United Kingdom, the Bears are maximizing visibility in a region where the league has steadily increased its presence. Localized offerings and watch parties should help translate short-term attention into sustained fan engagement while alumni participation reinforces the franchise’s history and brand overseas.
