Jaguars to host Texans at Wembley in Week 6; kickoff, broadcast details set
The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18, with kickoff set for 9:30 a.m. ET/2:30 p.m. BST on NFL Network, the team announced. The game closes out the Jaguars’ back-to-back London slate and will be the club’s first divisional matchup of the 2026 season. The team noted the contest will be carried nationally on NFL Network.
Jacksonville enters the game 4-1 while Houston is 1-4. The Jaguars are 8-7 all time in the United Kingdom and have played 11 games at Wembley dating to 2013, the team said. Last season’s contest in Week 7 versus the Los Angeles Rams featured receiver Travis Hunter’s first NFL touchdown and his first game with more than 100 receiving yards.
This marks Jacksonville’s first AFC South meeting of the season after the club produced its best record against the division in franchise history in 2025 (5-1). The teams split their season series a year ago, and each of their last five meetings has been decided by one score, according to the Jaguars’ release. That recent parity suggests another close game may be likely.
Jacksonville improved to 4-1 with a 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Kicker Cam Little converted a 57-yard field goal with one second remaining after a 53-yard kickoff return by running back Ameer Abdullah set up the kick. The club said it was the first game in the Super Bowl era in which both teams had go-ahead scores in the final 10 seconds. The start maintained the club’s streak of strong early-season results.
Broadcast coverage will be available locally on Fox30 and Jaguars TV affiliate stations and nationally on NFL Network. The broadcast team will include Bob Wischusen on play-by-play, Louis Riddick as analyst and Molly McGrath on the sideline, the team announced. Viewers can also stream the game on NFL+ on mobile or tablet devices.
Radio coverage will air on 1010 XL, 92.5 FM and 99.9 FM Gator Country with Frank Frangie calling play-by-play, Jeff Lageman serving as analyst and Bucky Brooks on the sideline. The Jaguars will present a Publix Tailgate Show beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET and a Countdown to Kickoff at 8:30 a.m. ET, with a postgame show immediately following the final whistle. Fans can also catch the broadcast on SIRIUS XM.
For live updates, galleries, stats and highlights, the Jaguars encouraged fans to follow Jaguars.com, the Jaguars mobile app and the team’s social channels. The club said top plays and game highlights will be posted on its YouTube channel and that live radio broadcasts will be available via the team home page and app at kickoff. Fans may join the team’s SMS list or subscribe to Jaguars emails for pregame and postgame content.
NFL Sports Blog Take
This London matchup gives the Jaguars a chance to build on a 4-1 start while closing out consecutive games overseas. Jacksonville’s winning record at Wembley and the recent dramatic win in Tottenham — highlighted by a long kickoff return and a game-winning 57-yard field goal — underscore the impact special teams can have in tight contests. With this the team’s first divisional game of the year and a recent trend of one-score outcomes between these clubs, complementary play in all three phases and consistent late-game execution are likely to determine who leaves Wembley with the edge in the AFC South race.
