The New Orleans Saints on their official website detailed the club’s radio and preseason-television broadcast arrangements, naming WWL (870 AM/105.3 FM) as the English-language flagship of the Saints Radio Network. The team listed Mike Hoss as the network play-by-play announcer, former Saints running back Deuce McAllister as the color commentator and Jeff Nowak as the sideline reporter. Former Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert and Steve Geller will handle pregame coverage, halftime commentary and the postgame program “The Point After,” the team said.

The Saints said WWL will extend weekly game coverage throughout the Gulf South and will host Saints-specific programming during the regular season. Spanish-language broadcasts will air on Tropical Radio (830 AM) with feeds at 94.7 FM in Baton Rouge and 105.7 FM in New Orleans. Fans will also be able to access broadcasts nationally via WWL.com, XM/Sirius, the NFL App and the Saints App, according to the team.

For preseason television, the Saints named Gray Communications as the club’s Gulf South provider. Gray Communications will broadcast preseason games on a network of its family stations in the Gulf South. The team said WVUE FOX 8 in New Orleans will carry the telecasts. Other Gray Communications stations in the region also will carry the games, the team added.

NFL Sports Blog Take

The Saints have assembled a broad regional radio footprint that pairs a strong local flagship presence on WWL with Spanish-language options and national streaming, which should help maintain accessibility for fans across the Gulf South and beyond. Naming experienced on-air personnel such as Mike Hoss, Deuce McAllister and Jeff Nowak provides continuity for listeners, while the Gray Communications preseason partnership ensures local television availability in the region. For supporters who travel or live outside the area, the inclusion of WWL.com, XM/Sirius, the NFL App and the Saints App offers reliable alternatives to tune in during the regular season and preseason.
