NASHVILLE The Tennessee Titans claimed defensive tackle Jonah Laulu off waivers and waived defensive tackle Timmy Horne on Oct. 28, 2026, the team said. The move was announced Wednesday as the Titans adjusted their defensive-line roster ahead of their game Sunday. The transaction adds an interior lineman with NFL starting experience to the Titans’ depth chart.

Laulu is listed at 6-foot-5, 289 pounds and appeared in 39 games with 22 starts over the past three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, the Titans said. He recorded 91 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 12 quarterback hits in those games. A seventh-round pick of the Indianapolis Professional Football Team in the 2024 NFL Draft, Laulu was waived by Indianapolis in August 2024 and claimed off waivers by the Raiders the next day.

Laulu started 15 games for Las Vegas in 2025 and has played in five games this season, with two contests listed as healthy scratches. He totaled five tackles and a half-sack this season with the Raiders. The addition gives the Titans a veteran interior option with recent starting experience and rotational playing time in 2026.

The Titans waived Timmy Horne as part of the corresponding roster move, the team said. The move opened a roster spot to add Laulu. The Titans return to game action Sunday at the Cincinnati Bengals.

NFL Sports Blog Take

Claiming Jonah Laulu provides the Titans with a 6-foot-5, 289-pound interior defender who has a record of starting at the NFL level and logging meaningful snaps over the past three seasons. His 22 career starts and 91 tackles with the Raiders indicate he can contribute in a rotational role and provide depth behind the Titans’ established defensive tackles. Waiving Timmy Horne created the roster spot necessary to add Laulu for the upcoming game. The move centers on interior line depth rather than a long-term projection given Laulu’s limited snaps this season and that he joined the Titans via the waiver wire.
