The Kansas City Chiefs issued their Week 7 injury report on Oct. 23, 2026, ahead of the matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. The report listed offensive lineman Jaylon Moore (concussion), wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee) and running back Brashard Smith (hamstring) as out for the game. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was a full participant in practice each day and is not listed with a game status limitation. Tight end Travis Kelce was limited with an ankle issue while a pair of defensive players — L’Jarius Sneed and Cooper McDonald — were listed as limited and marked questionable.

Moore did not participate in practice this week and is listed out, and Rice also did not practice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and is out for the game. Brashard Smith did not practice on Friday and is listed out after a hamstring issue earlier in the week. Trey Smith, Cyrus Allen and Chamarri Conner were full participants on the report, and Kelce was limited each day with an ankle concern. Sneed and McDonald practiced in a limited fashion and both carry a questionable designation for the game.

The Seahawks’ report included several notable names and question marks. Running back Zach Charbonnet is listed as out with a knee designation, while quarterback Drew Lock is listed as limited for a right elbow issue and is questionable for the game. Pass-rusher Demarcus Lawrence was listed with a rest/knee designation and is questionable, and Uchenna Nwosu and safety Nick Emmanwori were each limited and listed as questionable. Several other Seattle players had limited practice designations or did not participate across the week.

NFL Sports Blog Take

Mahomes practicing fully all week is the clearest positive from the Chiefs’ report and suggests the team expects him available for Week 7. The absence of Moore and Rice removes depth on the offensive line and at receiver, and Brashard Smith being out reduces backfield options. Limited designations for Kelce, Sneed and Cooper McDonald introduce uncertainty in key offensive and defensive spots and could influence game-day rotations. Seattle entering the weekend without Zach Charbonnet and with several question marks at quarterback and along the front seven gives the Chiefs both potential advantages and areas to monitor when final activations are announced.
