GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers added cornerback Brandon Cisse (hip) to the Packers’ Week 6 injury report and listed five players as questionable while ruling out four for Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, Packers.com senior writer Wes Hodkiewicz reported. The additions include guards Aaron Banks (knee/toe) and Jacob Monk (quadriceps), defensive tackle Anthony Campbell (ankle) and receiver Savion Williams (ankle), who is on injured reserve and would have to be added to the active roster to play. The team ruled out cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring), receiver Skyy Moore (ankle) and defensive tackles Jonathan Ford (calf) and Javon Hargrave (Achilles).

Jordon Riley (Achilles) was listed as doubtful after returning to practice this week, his first football activity since beginning the season on the physically unable to perform list. Savion Williams, designated to return from injured reserve, opened his 21-day practice window Oct. 7 and has practiced in a limited capacity since then. The 2025 third-round pick had 21 touches for 115 total yards and one touchdown as a rookie while serving as Green Bay’s kickoff returner.

Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Pro Bowl cornerback Keisean Nixon will play after sitting out Wednesday practice; Nixon has played in 73 consecutive regular-season games since signing with the Packers in 2022. LaFleur praised Williams’ development in route running and said the club has put him in different positions dating back to last year. LaFleur noted Williams looked “pretty good” when he practiced last week and has been working hard on his craft.

The Packers are dealing with multiple defensive-line issues. Javon Hargrave suffered a season-ending Achilles injury against Chicago, Jonathan Ford did not practice this week because of his calf, and Anthony Campbell has not played since injuring his ankle against the New York Jets but has practiced in a limited role the past two weeks. Green Bay currently has Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks and Chris McClellan as the other defensive linemen on the 53-man roster and has rookie David Blay Jr. on the practice squad.

Offensive line availability is also a concern because Aaron Banks has missed the last three games and Jacob Monk has not played since Week 3 against Atlanta. Laken Tomlinson and Travis Glover have started the past two weeks at left and right guard, respectively. LaFleur said, “We have got a plan,” but acknowledged the absences do not help the team’s continuity up front.

Dallas ruled out cornerback Cobie Durant (hamstring) and tackle Drew Shelton (hamstring) and listed four players as questionable: linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring), defensive tackle L.T. Overton (foot), and cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr. (ankle) and Ameer Speed (knee). The Cowboys did not issue a game status for several players who will be available, including defensive back Alijah Clark (hamstring), tackle Tyler Guyton (back), linebacker James Houston (shoulder), receiver CeeDee Lamb (thigh), cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. (knee) and guard Tyler Smith (thumb).

NFL Sports Blog Take

The Packers enter Sunday night with key depth questions that could shape matchups against Dallas. The potential activation of Savion Williams would help an already-thin receiver room that is missing Skyy Moore and coping with Jayden Reed’s season-ending neck injury, while Keisean Nixon’s expected availability stabilizes the cornerback corps. On the interior, Hargrave’s season-ending Achilles and limited availability for Ford and Campbell leave Green Bay with minimal options behind starters Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks and Chris McClellan, a situation that could affect rotation and run defense. Offensive line continuity also matters, because the absence of Aaron Banks or Jacob Monk would force continued reliance on Laken Tomlinson and Travis Glover at the guard spots and could influence pass protection against a Dallas front dealing with its own injuries.
