The Philadelphia Eagles activated guard Landon Dickerson and tight ends Grant Calcaterra and Eli Stowers from injured reserve on Oct. 26, 2026, the team announced ahead of the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles also elevated outside linebacker Keyshawn James-Newby and running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad for the game. Cornerback Jakorian Bennett remains on injured reserve and the team downgraded him to out, so he will not play Monday night.

The Eagles placed Calcaterra on injured reserve at the start of the season because of a back injury, and he is eligible to make his season debut Monday night. A former sixth-round pick of the Eagles in 2022, Calcaterra has 42 career catches for 494 yards and two touchdowns in 62 regular-season games, including 22 starts. The team announced the activation as part of its gameday roster moves on Monday afternoon. Calcaterra could provide additional blocking and receiving depth if he is active.

The Eagles placed Dickerson on injured reserve after he suffered a knee injury following his start at left guard in the season opener. Dickerson is a three-time Pro Bowl selection whose experience should aid center Drew Kendall, who took over the starting job during Dickerson’s absence. His return restores a proven interior starter to Philadelphia’s offensive line ahead of the divisional matchup. The team expects his presence to help the unit’s continuity.

Eli Stowers, the Eagles’ 2026 second-round pick, landed on injured reserve just before the season opener with a quadriceps injury and is eligible to make his NFL debut Monday night. Stowers won the 2025 Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end after recording 62 receptions for 769 yards and four touchdowns at Vanderbilt. The Eagles activated Stowers to add depth at tight end for their prime-time game. His college production suggests he could contribute if he is active.

The Eagles elevated rookie outside linebacker Keyshawn James-Newby from the practice squad after he was active last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. James-Newby battled injury through training camp but played 48 defensive snaps in his NFL debut and recorded a tackle. The team also elevated running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad; Mitchell totaled 1,523 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 27 games with the San Francisco 49ers. Mitchell rejoined the Eagles via the practice squad this week and Monday marks his Eagles regular-season debut if he is active.

Cornerback Jakorian Bennett remains on injured reserve and the team downgraded him to out for Monday night’s game, the Eagles said. The team listed Bennett as unavailable as part of its roster moves on Monday afternoon. His placement on injured reserve removes him from consideration for the matchup versus Dallas. The Eagles will rely on their remaining cornerbacks to cover Bennett’s absence.

NFL Sports Blog Take

Landon Dickerson’s return immediately strengthens Philadelphia’s starting offensive line by restoring a proven interior presence and should help continuity for Drew Kendall and the unit overall. Activating Grant Calcaterra and Eli Stowers bolsters tight end depth and gives the Eagles more options in the passing game if both are active. Elevating Elijah Mitchell provides running-back depth with a player who has prior NFL production, while Keyshawn James-Newby’s recent snaps indicate the Eagles view him as a developing defensive option. With Jakorian Bennett still on injured reserve, Philadelphia must rely on its remaining cornerbacks for Monday night’s divisional contest.
