Eagles list six inactives for London game; Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith sidelined

The Philadelphia Eagles listed six players inactive for their Week 6 regular-season game in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced Sunday on PhiladelphiaEagles.com. Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, who was listed as questionable Friday after sustaining an ankle injury against the Los Angeles Rams, is inactive after not practicing this week. The team noted the moves as it prepared to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Running backs Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby are unavailable for the game. Barkley did not practice all week and is inactive, while Bigsby, injured in the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams, was placed on injured reserve. Wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown remain sidelined with injuries; Brown has not practiced since Sept. 25, and Smith will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring issue. Safety Marcus Epps is inactive with a groin injury, and center/guard Drew Kendall is out with a knee injury after not practicing this week.
All three quarterbacks on the active roster, Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee and Cole Payton, are active for the game. The Eagles elevated tight end Zach Ertz and tackle John Ojukwu from the practice squad on Saturday, the team said. The Eagles provided the following list of inactives: WR Hollywood Brown (0), WR DeVonta Smith (6), RB Saquon Barkley (26), S Marcus Epps (29), OLB Jonathan Greenard (53) and C Drew Kendall (66). The Jacksonville Jaguars’ inactives were reported as WR CJ Williams (18), CB Alijah Huzzie (21), S Eric Murray (29), CB Jaylon Jones (36), OL Daniel Faalele (68), DE Wesley Williams (90) and DT Albert Regis (98).
The game is at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the Eagles make their second regular-season trip to London, the team noted. Players made their way to the stadium Saturday as the club prepared for the matchup. The team posted arrival photographs on PhiladelphiaEagles.com.

The Eagles will play in London with notable absences that affect both skill-position depth and the defensive front. Losing Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby reduces the club’s running-back options and will increase reliance on other backs and the passing game, while the absences of DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown thin the receiving rotation and raise the importance of the players elevated from the practice squad. Jonathan Greenard’s absence further limits outside linebacker depth and could force adjustments to the pass-rush rotation. With all three quarterbacks active, the team retains continuity at the position but must adjust personnel and game plans to compensate for the injured contributors.
