Jordan Love named FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week for Week 5
FedEx named Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love the FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week for Week 5, the Packers said Thursday. The honor recognized his performance in Green Bay’s 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears. Love threw for 367 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. The award covers both passing and rushing players selected by the FedEx award panel for weekly NFL play.
Love completed 25 of 31 passes for 367 yards with two touchdown passes and no interceptions, and he posted a regular-season career-high passer rating of 137.5, the Packers said. His efficiency and yardage put him in rare franchise company. Love joined Aaron Rodgers as the only quarterbacks in Packers history to throw for more than 350 yards with multiple touchdowns, no interceptions and a completion percentage above 80 in a game.
Love is the only quarterback in the NFL this season with two games of 350-plus passing yards and multiple passing touchdowns, the team said. He is the first Packers quarterback with multiple such games within the club’s first five games of a season since Rodgers in 2011. Love has three 300-yard passing games this season, a career high, and became the fourth quarterback in team history to register three 300-yard games in the first five contests, joining Rodgers, Brett Favre and Don Majkowski.
FedEx will make charitable contributions tied to the weekly honors, the release said. The company will donate $2,000 in the names of each of the two weekly award winners, for a total of $4,000, to Feeding America for a local food bank in the winning player’s city. The donations accompany the on-field recognition.

Jordan Love’s Week 5 performance reinforced the early-season passing surge he has displayed in 2026. His combination of high yardage, touchdown passes and ball security in a single game is notable for its efficiency and for placing him alongside franchise greats in statistical milestones. The streak of multiple 300- and 350-yard games through the first five weeks underscores the Packers’ reliance on Love’s arm to generate offense and highlights how quickly he has escalated his passing production compared with recent team history.
