The New England Patriots and the New England Revolution hosted a Pixar-themed Halloween party for pediatric cancer patients on Oct. 28, 2026, at the Sports Illustrated Pavilion at Patriot Place, the teams said in a release published Oct. 28, 2026. The teams invited more than 40 children receiving treatment and their families to the annual celebration, which the teams’ foundations run. The teams organized the evening to provide food, activities and costumed entertainment for patients, siblings and parents.

Several Patriots players and Revolution members attended in costume. Brenden Schooler arrived in a themed outfit and special-teams player Julian Ashby dressed as Woody from Toy Story. Patriots captain Robert Spillane attended for the first time since joining the team last year and wore a character costume alongside his daughters, who dressed as Mike Wazowski and Boo. Offensive tackle Lorenz Metz wore a supersized Mike Wazowski onesie, and linebacker Erick Hunter dressed as Buzz Lightyear without a helmet. Other Patriots on hand included Hunter Henry, Tanner Arkin, Kyle Dixon, Julian Hill, Tanner Connor, Karon Prunty, Channing Canada, Benton Witley and Walter Rouse, while Revolution players Cody Baker, JD Gunn and Ethan Kohler also took part; the Patriots Cheerleaders attended as well.

After the athletes, cheerleaders and mascots made a grand entrance, they joined children and their families to decorate cookies and pumpkins, iron patches onto trick-or-treat bags, and enjoy dinner, candy and a sundae bar. The teams invited families from area hospitals including Mass General Brigham to attend the party. The Patriots and Revolution shared images and highlights of the event on their social channels following the celebration.

Players and team leaders said the gathering was meaningful for families and for the athletes who attended. Schooler said dressing up helps children open up and have fun, and Spillane described it as an honor to see the children smile while spending time with their families. The parties are an annual tradition between the two organizations’ foundations to connect players and community members through shared activities.

This event highlights both teams’ commitment to community outreach through their annual Halloween celebration for pediatric cancer patients. By bringing more than 40 children and their families together with players, cheerleaders and mascots, the organizations provided a sustained distraction from treatment and opportunities for meaningful interaction. The visible involvement of captains and a broad roster of athletes underscores the foundations’ role in organizing recurring charitable events.
