Savannah Bananas to bring Banana Ball weekend to Huntington Bank Field on June 5-6, 2027
The Cleveland Browns announced that the Savannah Bananas will return to Cleveland for a two-game Banana Ball weekend at Huntington Bank Field on June 5-6, 2027. The team said the weekend will combine Banana Ball’s fast-paced baseball with live music, dancing and nonstop fan-focused entertainment. The Browns made the announcement in a team release published Oct. 15, 2026.
The Browns described Banana Ball as a fast-paced, fans-first variant of baseball built around 11 unique rules intended to keep the action moving. The team said the rules emphasize speed, showmanship and continuous play to keep crowds engaged from the first pitch to the last out. The Browns said organizers expect a festival-like atmosphere that blends sport and performance on the field.
The team said it will distribute tickets through a lottery that is open now at bananaball.com/tickets and closes Oct. 31, 2026, at midnight ET. Fans who want premium hospitality or suite options before general sales can contact the Browns ticketing department at 440-891-5050 or tickets@clevelandbrowns.com. The Browns recommended booking early because they expect strong demand for the June weekend.
NFL Sports Blog Take
The Browns are positioning Huntington Bank Field as a year-round venue by hosting an entertainment-driven event that emphasizes fan engagement and nontraditional rules. The lottery-ticketing approach and advertised premium hospitality options indicate organizers expect strong demand, and the June dates fall outside the team’s regular-season calendar. Events like this can broaden the stadium’s audience and create off-field revenue and community-activation opportunities for the organization.
