Week 4 Injury Report: Chiefs vs. Raiders — Mahomes, Jones full; Simmons did not practice

Sept. 30, 2026 — The Kansas City Chiefs released their Week 4 injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Chiefs Public Relations. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and defensive tackle Chris Jones practiced fully. Several other contributors logged full participation, including defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah, defensive back Jadon Canady, linebacker Jack Cochrane and wide receiver Rashee Rice. Tackle Josh Simmons did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was a limited participant in practice with a knee issue, while cornerbacks Chris Roland-Wallace and Chamarri Conner and tackle Ashton Gillotte were listed as full participants. The report listed Jadon Canady with a knee designation and Jack Cochrane with a calf designation on the Wednesday release. Rashee Rice was listed as practicing fully despite a knee issue. The Chiefs released the report through their public relations office.
The Las Vegas Raiders issued a companion practice report that included wide receiver Malik Benson (knee, FP), defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi (shoulder, FP), running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle, FP) and wide receiver Cody White (ankle, FP). Quarterback Aidan O’Connell was designated NIR (Personal) and did not practice. Guard/center Jackson Powers-Johnson did not practice with a groin designation, and safeties Tristin McCollum and Treydan Stukes were listed as full participants on Wednesday. The Raiders provided their report through the team’s public relations department.
The teams listed DNP (did not participate), LP (limited participation) and FP (full participation) as the practice-status abbreviations used in the reports. The releases also included standard game-status categories such as Out, Doubtful and Questionable, with a dash indicating a player was not listed for game status. The Chiefs and Raiders published their reports Sept. 30, 2026 via their respective public relations offices.

Full practice designations for Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones are encouraging signs for Kansas City entering Week 4, as both players are central to their units. The limited participation of L’Jarius Sneed and the absence of Josh Simmons from practice could affect depth and protection plans and merit monitoring through the rest of the week. Aidan O’Connell’s NIR (Personal) designation and did-not-practice status is a developing situation to watch for Las Vegas. Both teams otherwise reported multiple players practicing fully, which may limit late-week roster changes.
