The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed third-year guard Trevor Keegan off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 4, 2026, the team announced. To clear room on the 53-man roster, the Buccaneers waived second-year guard Luke Haggard. The transaction was reported Nov. 4, 2026 by Scott Smith.

Keegan appeared in seven games for Minnesota this season, playing exclusively on special teams before he was waived on Tuesday. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 draft by Philadelphia and spent his rookie year on the Eagles’ active roster. He logged 35 offensive snaps in one game, a Week 18 win over the New York Giants, and was waived after the 2025 preseason. Keegan had a short stint with Dallas that included two game appearances and a midseason placement on injured reserve, and the Cowboys waived him at the end of the preseason this summer.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman starred at Michigan, appearing in 44 games and making 37 starts at left guard. He earned All-Big Ten recognition three times, including a coaches’ first-team selection in 2022. That college resume and his size provide the Buccaneers with interior-line upside as they add depth late in the regular season.

Luke Haggard signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana and has been with the organization in some capacity for more than three seasons. He spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons on Tampa Bay’s practice squad and began the 2025 campaign on the practice squad before earning a Week 3 promotion. Haggard started four games at right guard following that promotion and remained on the 53-man roster for the rest of the season. This year he made the active roster out of training camp and has appeared in two games while being listed inactive for six others.

The Buccaneers added Keegan to bolster interior-line depth with a player who combines size and a strong college track record, even though his professional experience has been limited largely to special teams and spot duty. Keegan’s path through Philadelphia, Dallas and Minnesota shows roster volatility, but his college starting experience gives him a clearer developmental ceiling than many midseason waiver claims. Waiving Haggard removes a familiar depth piece who has starter experience, suggesting the Buccaneers preferred Keegan’s upside or schematic fit. This move merits attention in practice reports and game-day elevations as the Buccaneers manage continuity and availability along the offensive front down the stretch.
